Apple Consultant/Engineer (Denver)
Seeking a Consulting Engineer for Apple product support to our clients.
Ideally this engineer will be able to support both Apple and Windows environments and products. Should have strong familiarity with Apple products in the business environment, including integration into Windows networks and services.
Experience with servers, mail servers, web servers, directory services, purchasing domain names, managing ISP's, network troubleshooting and setup, etc. are all in the job description and you must be comfortable with all of that.
-3 + years supporting Mac OS X and Apple based products
-Mac OS X 10.8 operating system installation and troubleshooting
-IOS 6.x operating system configuration
-Apple (Mac + iPhone/iPad/iPod) hardware troubleshooting
-Apple based backup software setup, configuration, and administration
-Mac OS X included apps (iTunes, Contacts, iCal, Mail, iPhoto, etc.)
-Apple hardware (iPhone, iPad) set up and troubleshooting expertise
-Apple Mail, Contacts iCal and Office 2011 for Mac Exchange 2003/2007/2010 integration
-Understanding of cloud services (iCloud, Office 365, Google Apps & Mail, etc.)
-iPad/iPhone integration with Exchange troubleshooting
-Active Directory account creation and administration
-Network printing, SMB connectivity and basic understanding of IP
-RDC and VPN connectivity
-Operating knowledge of switches, modems, routers and WIFI APs
**Interest in learning more about Windows Server platforms and server based applications
Nice to Have
-Apple Certification (ACSP, ACHDS, ACMT or other)
-Apple Server experience (up through 10.8)
-Parallels/VMware Fusion installation and support
-Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, Server 2003, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 installation and support
-Extensive Windows XP/Windows 7 desktop troubleshooting experience
-Exchange 2003/2007/2010 account creation and administration
-Windows Server 2008/2008 R2 troubleshooting experience a bonus
-Understanding of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, RAID)
-Open directory and integration with windows Active Directory a plus

You must also have a broad familiarity with the Microsoft product line as well, including how Apple products interact with it. The successful candidate will join a team operating within the Denver area, providing both project and support services. Someone that has the ability to support the below in addition to your expert Apple/Mac skills is ideal.

AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF BNC YOU WILL
-Work as a consultant with our clients in the Denver area to support Apple/Mac/IOS and Microsoft networks, desktops, and servers. This will include occasional after-hours and weekend work. NOT A LOT!
-Manage system and/or network issues to resolution within the client base.
-Manage new installations and migrations.
-Identify ways to improve our clients' systems and infrastructure (upgrades to hardware, software, and network).
